Hi I have this problem when hiking. Some times my cane gets stuck and 1 time my cane got stuck in mud. When I pulled it out turns out the tip got pulled off. I was wondering if anyone knew of any heavy duty canes that are better for hiking, or like a way to avoid your tip getting pulled off? At camp the one place we go hiking requires climbing over large stoops like stepping stones and often their is mud on either sides of the stoops. Which makes it hard to judge where the next step is with out risking my cane getting in the mud. The cane would also have to be a folding or collapsible one as we take a bus there then canoe across a lake. Any help or ideas would be great!
